Aiming to provide continuous educational opportunities and full, fill the university's mission The Jagannath University central library started its Journey from thebeginning of the university in 2005. From then on the library has been playing an essential part in the university through its various services and facilities. It has been designed to meet the information, research and curriculum needs of students, faculties and staff members for research and development activities

Objective Of the Library

To support the university community in developing lifelong skills in innovative and analytical thinking, research, information literacy, and to provide distinctive collections, services, facilities and programs. Jagannath University Central Library: The Jagannath University Central Library is very popular among its user's. 2500 users visit the library daily and nearly 500 to 800 users make use of its circulation facilities. 500 to 700 students avail the news paper facilities. While other readers got access to text books, reference books & reference service facilities.
